This dive trip was an eye opener on saftey.

Booking was easy right at our hotel. Seems like they have a few dive masters do one day at a few resorts along the beach to drum up business. The staff was friendly and the equipment was fine.

Our first dive was deep and also into a wreck. I was probably the only customer qualified for this type of thing. My wife was doing here 3rd dive after her open water. One guy diving with us from Australia was on his 3rd dive ever after diving the day before for the first time. Dive planning seemed to have zero meaning which is fine for many shallow dives but this was 110 feet into a wreck - the wreck was not something prepared but had sunk a few years before. The dive seemed to be planned based on who ran out of air. A few dive masters had computers so I assume they might have been watching for us.

The dive master to diver ratio was good but still entering a wreck with new divers is risky. I put myself at the back of the group so I could keep an eye out. This almost back fired when we entered the wreck. A few pipes were dangling from the ceiling and caught my reg.

The second dive was a 70 foot dive. Way off the tables for our second dive!

The lunch was amazing on the boat. On the way out to the first dive site we dropped some guy off in the ocean with a snorkle, fins, game bag and spear. On the way to second dive we picked back up. He had lobster, snapper and other fish to eat. Amazingly freash.

We actually did a night dive a few nights later with them. This was a shallow beach entry and was a lot of fun.
